LinkServer Documentation
========================

`LinkServer <https://www.nxp.com/design/software/development-software/mcuxpresso-software-and-tools-/linkserver-for-microcontrollers:LINKERSERVER>`_
is a tool designed to launch and manage GDB servers for NXP debug probes.
It offers both graphical and command-line interfaces for programming target flash memory, along with an integrated test runner for automated workflows.
It can be used within NXP MCUXpresso for Visual Studio Code, with custom GNU-based debug setups, or in headless environments for continuous integration and testing.

LinkServer can be used with CMSIS-DAP probes such as

`LPC-Link2 <https://www.nxp.com/design/design-center/development-boards-and-designs/OM13054>`_,
LPC11U35-based and OpenSDA-based standalone or on-board debug probes from NXP.
