Hardware requirements

  • USB-C cable

  • FRDM-MCXE247 board

  • Personal Computer

Board settings

No special settings are required.

Prepare the Demo

  1. Before running this demo, please study the flash partitioning required by the ELA_CSEC module. Correct partitioning of the flash is also showcased in the ela_csec driver example. This partitioning step is NOT done by the mbedtls3x examples and must be completed before running these examples in order to utilize the underlying ELA_CSEC acceleration.

  2. Connect a USB cable between the host PC and the MCU-LINK USB port on the target board.

  3. Open a serial terminal with the following settings:

    • 115200 baud rate

    • 8 data bits

    • No parity

    • One stop bit

    • No flow control

  4. Download the program to the target board.

  5. Either press the reset button on your board or launch the debugger in your IDE to begin running the demo.
